Know where you stand.

Four short, honest instruments for engineering leaders. Each one gives you something you can use the same day — a score, a model, or a plan — whether or not we ever talk.

01

For the AI rollout that stalled

AI Maturity Assessment

Twenty questions across five pillars of AI-native delivery. You get a radar chart, a maturity tier, a benchmark against teams your size, and a downloadable PDF report of the whole read.

Start the assessment~5 minutes · 20 questions
  • A scored radar across strategy, value, people, governance, and flow
  • A benchmark for teams your size, with advice per pillar
  • A downloadable PDF report, written to be forwarded

02

For the AI line item under scrutiny

AI Value Calculator

Model the capacity your team unlocks by maturing AI across the lifecycle — your portfolio, your usage levels, your team's cost basis — translated into hours, engineer-equivalents, and dollars.

Build my model~3 minutes · 5 inputs
  • Projected capacity gain across your portfolio
  • The dollar value on your team size and cost basis
  • A board-deck PDF of the model, caveats included
Pairs with AI Value Proof
03

For the legacy product losing ground

Modernization Readiness Assessment

Twelve questions across the five factors that decide whether a modernization ships or stalls. You get a scored readiness profile, the first move that fits it, and a board-ready PDF report — on screen the moment you finish.

Get your readiness score~3 minutes · 12 questions
  • A readiness profile: technical foundation vs. business momentum
  • A recommended first move, sized to be approved
  • A downloadable PDF report, written for the budget conversation

For the debt that never gets funded

Technical Debt Cost Calculator

Turn eight estimates you already know into the annual interest you're paying on technical debt — everyday drag, debt-driven incidents, and attrition, in dollars — plus the risk band and three-year compounding view that make the paydown case to a CFO.

Calculate my interest~3 minutes · 8 inputs
  • Your annual debt interest, in dollars and as a share of spend
  • A risk band and three-year do-nothing vs. paydown comparison
  • A board-ready PDF brief, written for the funding conversation

Questions, answered

Before you start.

What these instruments measure, what they cost (nothing), and which one fits your situation.

How do I find out where my engineering org actually stands on AI — without booking a sales call?
Use the instruments on this page. Each one scores your situation on screen the moment you finish — AI maturity across five pillars, the dollar value of AI on your numbers, modernization readiness, or the annual cost of your technical debt. No login, no call, and the result is yours whether or not we ever talk.
Are these really free? What's the catch?
They're free and the results render on screen with no gate. The only ask: if you want the PDF report to forward or take to a budget meeting, we ask for a work email to send it to. No marketing lists, no drip campaign, no follow-up call you didn't ask for.
Where do the scores and dollar figures come from?
From your answers, run through models we use in real engagements — maturity pillars and readiness factors on the assessments, and your own cost and team estimates on the calculators. Every result ships with its assumptions and caveats visible, because a directional number you can interrogate beats a precise-looking one you can't.
Which assessment should I start with?
Match it to the pain. AI rollout produced no measurable lift: the AI Maturity Assessment. Defending the AI line item to a board: the AI Value Calculator. Legacy product losing ground to faster rivals: the Modernization Readiness Assessment. Debt paydown that never gets funded: the Technical Debt Cost Calculator.
