Much has been said about the difference between commitment and forecasting. In the scrum guide, the concept of “committing” to work was replaced with “forecasting work that will be done.” While I agree with some of the core reasons behind this change, the concept of commitment is still key to a successful Agile team. Teams and individuals should know what to commit to and embrace a culture that promotes growth
