Product Description
Scrum is easy to learn, but difficult to master. This truism has led many teams down the path of Scrum-but, fake Agile, and anything but Scrum. In this highly interactive, five half-day course, learners will gain hands-on experience practicing true, great, Scrum.
From day one, the class dives into the basics of Scrum. They will learn about the deep, rich history of where it came from, and will begin be able to identify the difference between true Scrum and fake Scrum.
Next, learners will experience the world of the Scrum Master. You’ll learn how to identify common pitfalls of Scrum teams, and will gain the skills necessary to coach winning teams and see just what it means to build teams that can do twice the work in half the time.
Finally, students will gain practical, hands-on experience, in how to be a Product Owner. Teams of students will identify real-world problems, develop a vision, roadmap, and experimental backlog to solve those problems. You’ll get the skills needed to know how and where to gain feedback, how to rapidly test business ideas, and how to leverage your high-performing teams to develop products that customers love!
At the end of the class, students will be eligible to sit for the Scrum Inc. Scrum Master and Scrum Inc. Product Owner exams (exam fee included). The only certifications in the industry formally recognized by Scrum inventor, Jeff Sutherland.
